Excellent and effective teaching demands a host of devices, techniques and strategies not only to achieve cross critical outcomes, but because variety, itself, is a desideratum. One teaching instrument which perhaps is seldom used is the cartoon. The value of cartoon in the teaching/learning process is reasonably well recognized particularly in the establishment of a positive learning environment. Using cartoon as a teaching strategy, benefits the promotion of understanding, increased attention and interest, to enhance student learning in classroom.This paper outlines the use of cartoons as stimuli to encourage in creating interest and developing humourism in classroom.
